Surplus Equipment Collection Process

The collection of surplus equipment is now separated into two categories: Computer Equipment and Non-Computer Equipment. Please make sure to fill out the correct form based on the type of equipment you are disposing of.

• Computer Equipment: If your surplus computer equipment contains data, it will be handled by the Office of Information Technology (OIT). OIT will securely erase all data in compliance with state regulations and assess the equipment for potential reuse. Any items that cannot be repurposed will be sent to the Surplus Property warehouse for recycling. To schedule a computer equipment pickup, please fill out the SalukiTech Surplus Computer Pickup Request. OIT will reach out to you to arrange the pickup.
• Non-Computer Equipment: All other types of surplus equipment will continue to be collected by the Surplus Property department. To request a pickup of non-computer equipment, please complete the Non-Computer Surplus Property Pickup Request. A representative from Surplus Property will contact you to schedule the collection.
